Best of Fall Colors 2021

Mesa Lakes, Grand Mesa

With the California wildfire smoke finally blown away, deep blue Colorado skies provide a beautiful contrasting backdrop to what was a much more colorful aspen leaf year. Gone are the muted colors of last year as nature returns to vibrant oranges, reds, and yellows, with temperatures and precipitation lining up for an extended viewing season. Some striking pictures. Your fall is ahead of us. So it gives me hope for similarly saturated fall colors to develop here in the upper Midwest.
